About us

Children’s Folk Dance Group "Krog" (The Circle) is promoting dancing and music education, offering dance classes exclusively to pre-school and primary-school children. At this early age children learn mostly through playing. Being aware of this fact, the management has engaged the best pedagogues and dance experts to offer children dancing classes.

Among the staff we should mention professor Iko Otrin, Ms Lea Rumež, and Ms Tadeja Belak Šafhalter.

In our classes children will be taught the basics of dancing, rhythmic movements and folk dances which are mostly danced in a group. Classes are open to complete beginners as well as to those who may have had some dancing experience in primary-school dance groups.

Being members of our dance group, children will learn at an early age how to express their feelings through dancing.
